The Albanor follows the long Roman tradition of the simple, unadorned white alb worn at every Mass and major liturgy. We have kept the proportions traditional – a high gathered yoke, full skirt, sleeves wide enough for a server’s stole – and used a modern linen-rayon blend so the garment moves and breathes through long ceremonies. It is the alb to reach for when the focus belongs on the rite, not the vestment.
Signature feature: matching self-fabric cincture
Each Albanor ships with a coordinating self-fabric cincture cut from the same linen-blend bolt, finished with a discreet hook-and-eye at the back. It sits flat under the chasuble without bulk, replacing the need for a separate cord cincture for clergy who prefer a clean, modern line. The belt loops are interior and reinforced, so the cincture stays at true waist height through the entire celebration.
Tailored construction for low-maintenance daily use
Side seams are double-stitched and serged for clean wear after weekly laundering. The yoke is interfaced for shape retention so the gathers stay even after dozens of washes, and the buttoned cuffs are reinforced with a fused stay to prevent fraying at the cuff edge. A small interior label notes size and care, kept low-profile so nothing prints through the chasuble.
Linen-blend fabric and care
55% linen, 45% rayon, mid-weight at approximately 200 GSM. The blend keeps the cool, breathable hand of pure linen while reducing wrinkling and the typical linen pucker after washing. Machine wash cold on delicate, hang to dry, and press at medium heat with a damp cloth. Avoid chlorine bleach to preserve the bright liturgical white.

Is the linen-blend wrinkle-resistant enough for travel?
The 45% rayon content significantly reduces creasing compared with 100% linen. Most travel wrinkles fall out on a hanger overnight; a quick steam will release any remaining marks before Mass.
How long is the standard Regular and Tall hem?
Regular finishes at approximately 56 inches from the back of the neck; Tall is cut 3 inches longer. Both are designed to skim the top of a dress shoe without dragging.
Can I order a longer or shorter sleeve?
