Description

Designed for the Front-of-House of Ministry

Where the Actorum work apron protects you from messy tasks, the Facio is meant to be seen during them. Cut as a half-apron rather than a bib, it ties cleanly at the natural waist over a clergy shirt or cassock without bulking up the silhouette. Hospitality ministers, deacons assisting at table fellowship, and clergy who lead congregational meals reach for this style first.

Construction & Pockets

Topstitched seams in matching thread, twin low-profile patch pockets at the hips for napkins or a serving cloth, and a discreet pen loop on the right hip. The clean front panel is the natural canvas for embroidered parish initials, a small cross, or a deacon’s name without competing visual elements.

Fabric & Care

8 oz cotton-poly twill in matte black with a soft hand. The poly content keeps creases and food stains from setting in. Machine wash cool, tumble dry low, light press if desired. The fabric is intentionally less stiff than canvas so it drapes naturally over a cassock.

Who It’s For

Deacons, hospitality ministers, eucharistic ministers serving the cup at coffee hour, parish dinner servers, retreat hosts, and clergy who lead congregational meals. One adjustable size; ties accommodate waists 28–48 in.

FAQs

Can the Facio be worn over a cassock?

Yes. The half-length cut and soft twill drape are designed to layer cleanly over a cassock or clergy shirt without bulking the waist or pulling the hem out of line.

Is this apron stain-resistant for parish dinners?

The cotton-poly twill releases most food stains in a normal wash cycle. We recommend cold water and an oxygen-based stain remover for wine or olive oil contact, applied within a few hours of the spill.

Can I order a matching set for my hospitality team?

Yes. Parish bulk orders of six or more aprons receive a coordinated batch run with consistent dye lot and uniform embroidery. Contact us for parish pricing and custom monogram positioning.

How does this differ from the Mandatum Traditional Apron?

The Facio is a half-apron focused on serving and hospitality with a contemporary cut. The Mandatum is a full-length, ceremonial-cut apron designed specifically for foot-washing rites on Holy Thursday and similar liturgical actions.
