Tenorix was developed for ministers who feel the standard clergy shirt fits like a uniform from a different era. The cut is slimmer through the chest, waist, and sleeve, with a higher armhole that lifts cleanly during preaching gestures and a shorter, neater hem suited to a tucked silhouette under modern suit jackets, chore coats, or simple stoles.
Slim Tab Collar Profile
The signature feature is a narrower neckband sized for a slim 1.25” white plastic tab — a contemporary proportion that reads modern in pulpit photography and Sunday livestreams. The band is interlined for a clean stand and shaped slightly forward at the throat to sit better on shorter or thicker necks.
Construction Details
Single-needle felled side seams, narrower placket (1”), bar-tacked stress points, and a clean back yoke without center pleats for a flatter modern line. The chest pocket is omitted to preserve a smooth front; sleeves are finished with a clean turn-back hem.
Fabric & Care
65/35 cotton-poly broadcloth in a sealed deep black, finished slightly lighter than our daily shirts to suit a slim cut. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, light press on placket and band. The fabric is wrinkle-resistant for travel preaching and conference rotations.

How slim is the Tenorix fit?
Tenorix is cut as a true slim fit — about 2 inches trimmer through the chest and waist than our Clerion regular fit. Trim-build ministers will find it true to size; broader builds may prefer Clerion or Veritus.
Will a standard 1.5-inch tab fit the slim collar?
The Tenorix neckband is sized for a slim 1.25-inch tab. A standard 1.5-inch tab will sit slightly proud at the band edge; we recommend the matching slim tabs supplied with the shirt for a clean modern proportion.
Is Tenorix appropriate under formal vestments?
Yes for non-denominational and contemporary liturgical use. For high-liturgy services with chasubles, copes, or academic gowns, the Sacralis or Clerion provide a more traditional shoulder and band proportion.
Does Tenorix have a chest pocket?
No. The chest pocket is intentionally omitted to preserve a clean, modern front line. If you prefer a pocket for a pen and reading card, choose Altior or Vespera in the same collection.
