The Comfort-First Pastoral Shirt
Veritus was drawn for ministers whose week is mostly listening, walking, driving, and praying with people — work that is easier in a shirt that doesn’t pull at the shoulders or pinch at the chest after eight hours. The cut adds room through the back and chest, drops the armhole slightly for natural arm movement, and softens the waist line so the shirt drapes well over different body shapes.
Tabless Neckband for All-Day Wear
The signature feature is a soft tabless neckband that closes with a hidden throat button — ideal for chaplains and parish ministers who want a recognizable clerical line without the rigidity of a tab on long days. The band still accepts a standard 1.5” white tab when the schedule turns formal.
Construction & Comfort Details
Felled side seams for a flatter, kinder finish against the skin during all-day wear, generous single-button barrel cuffs, and reinforced bar-tacks at the placket. The chest pocket is sized for both a pen and a small notebook — a real working pocket for parish work.
Fabric & Care
Cotton-rich 65/35 broadcloth in a sealed deep black, finished with a slightly softer hand than our daily shirts. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, light press as needed. The fabric is forgiving with wear and rebounds well after being packed for hospital and travel days.

Yes. The tabless neckband includes a hidden throat button so the shirt closes cleanly without a tab. Add a 1.5-inch white plastic tab for liturgical or formal services as needed.
