The Daily-Wear Foundation Cassock
Caelorum was drafted as the foundation blue cassock — the one you wear most weeks, in the rotation alongside your formal Azzuro and your seasonal vestments. The line is intentionally calm: no contrast cuffs, no embroidery, no contrast piping. The shape carries the dignity, supported by clean tailoring and a well-weighted hem.
Mandarin Tab Collar & Full Placket
The signature feature is a mandarin clerical collar shaped for a 1.5” white tab and a full-length button placket from throat to hem with reinforced bar-tacks at the top and bottom. The button line gives the cassock its traditional vertical authority on camera and in person.
Tailoring & Construction
Felled side seams for a flatter line under stoles, two interior cassock pockets sized for a small prayer book and pen, a center back vent for clean sitting and processional walking, and a hem tape-finished to weight evenly. Buttons are color-matched and reinforced with cross-stitching.
Fabric & Care
Mid-weight polyester-rayon broadcloth in a sealed deep royal blue, breathable enough for warm sanctuaries and structured enough to hold its line under a stole or chimere. Dry clean recommended; light steam between wears. Avoid hot irons that can scorch the dye.
