Velorum was drafted for the preacher who uses the cassock as part of the sermon — the gospel pastor, the COGIC overseer, the senior minister leading anniversary services. The contrasting line of white buttons travels down the centerline like a chord, drawing the eye from collar to hem and reading instantly on camera and at the back of large halls.
Contrast White Buttons & Self-Fabric Belt
The signature feature is a full line of crisp white buttons set against the royal blue placket, repeated as a stepped row of buttons climbing each cuff. A self-fabric belt closes at the natural waist and slightly defines the silhouette, restoring proportion to a long cassock body during preaching gestures.
Tailoring & Construction
Mandarin clerical collar shaped for a 1.5” white tab, full-length white-button placket with reinforced bar-tacks, self-fabric belt with covered buckle, two interior cassock pockets, felled side seams, and a long tape-finished hem.
Fabric & Care
Mid-weight polyester-rayon broadcloth in a sealed deep royal blue. White buttons are sealed against yellowing and wear. Dry clean only; do not bleach, as bleach will compromise both the blue ground and the white button finish.

Are the white buttons truly contrasting or just lighter blue?
The buttons are a true bright white, intentionally chosen to read against the royal blue ground from camera distance and the back of large auditoriums.
Is the belt removable?
Yes. The self-fabric belt slides through belt loops at the natural waist and can be worn or removed depending on preference and occasion.
Will the white buttons yellow over time?
The buttons are sealed against yellowing in normal indoor wear. Avoid bleach exposure (which yellows white plastic buttons across the industry) and dry clean only.
How is Velorum different from Azzuro?
Both are formal, ceremony-grade royal blue cassocks. Azzuro is the jacquard-fabric option with black velvet cuff bands; Velorum is the smooth-fabric option with contrasting white buttons and a self-fabric belt.
