Description
A modern minimalist alb for the contemporary parish
The Vestalis is for clergy who want the alb to disappear into the rite. There is no embroidery, no lace, no bell sleeve – just a clean, slightly slim silhouette in soft, photogenic white. The result is an alb that lets the chasuble, the stole, and the celebrant himself carry the visual weight of the liturgy.
Signature feature: slim shoulder yoke and column line
A narrow shoulder yoke – flat, not gathered – shapes the upper chest cleanly so the alb sits closer to the body without binding. The body then drops in a long, lightly tapered column with no front pleat or vertical break. Sleeves are set in narrow at the cuff with a single hidden button. The whole garment reads as quiet architecture rather than ornament.
Travel-ready microfiber construction
All seams are bonded as well as stitched so they do not crease in a packed bag. The hem is rolled and double-stitched to keep its line through frequent washes. Inside, the back yoke has a small hidden hanging loop so the alb can be hung in narrow sacristy closets or chapel vestries during travel ministries.
Soft-touch microfiber fabric and care
100% polyester soft-touch microfiber, mid-weight at approximately 180 GSM. Dries quickly, resists wrinkles, and stays bright white through frequent laundering. Machine wash cold on normal, tumble low or hang to dry, and steam any persistent travel marks. No ironing required for routine use.

FAQs
Will the Vestalis really not need ironing?
For routine wear, no – the microfiber is highly wrinkle-resistant and bonded seams resist creasing. A quick steam will clear any deep travel folds before vesting.
Does it come with a cincture?
No – the slim cut is meant to be worn without one. A simple white rope cincture can be added at checkout for clergy who prefer one for the binding gesture at Mass.
Is it warm enough for cold sanctuaries?
The 180 GSM weight is comfortable in moderate to cool conditions. For deep winter sanctuaries, consider layering over a long-sleeved clerical shirt or pairing with a chasuble of heavier weight.
Will the slim cut still allow free movement at the altar?
Yes, the slimming is at the body, not the shoulders or sleeves. The set-in sleeve is engineered for full overhead reach, and the skirt is wide enough at the hem for a normal stride and the orans posture.
