Authority and Utility in One Garment
The Cardinalis cassock is designed for the ordained minister who requires both ceremonial weight and practical function from a single garment. The cincture defines the waist, anchors the cassock through active ministry, and signals the formality of full liturgical dress. The well-placed side pocket provides immediate access to sermon notes, a small Bible or personal items without requiring the wearer to reach through the cinctured belt.
The cassock is cut with a fitted bodice flowing into a panelled ankle-length skirt, with a full button-front placket from collar to hem in matching fabric-covered buttons. The collar is interfaced to hold a clerical insert securely.
Cincture and Pocket Detail
The included cincture is a wide grosgrain belt in coordinating deep red, worn at the natural waist. It is designed for daily wear: durable, holds its width without rolling, keeps the cassock gathered through active movement. The side-pocket opening is positioned below the cincture line on the strong-hand side, accessible naturally with the cincture in place.
Fabric and Construction
Four-season wool-blend suiting (approx. 55% wool / 45% polyester) in deep red. Matte face, fully lined bodice, bound internal seams.
Care: dry clean only; steam-press on a wool setting.
Who the Cardinalis Is For
Roman Catholic priests, Anglican clergy, Old Catholic ministers and Lutheran pastors who wear a cincture as part of regular liturgical dress and want cassock and cincture to arrive as a coordinated set. Also ideal for clergy who carry service materials through the Mass and benefit from accessible side-pocket storage.
