The Bright Magenta Purple Robe for Senior Ministry

The robe is cut in the standard full-length, open-front, wide-sleeve silhouette appropriate to a clergy robe, with a clean collar finish and flowing body. The consistent magenta-purple from collar to hem communicates the authority of the wearer’s office clearly across the full breadth of a large congregation or sanctuary.

Fabric, Construction and Care

The Pontemus uses a fabric chosen for its ability to carry a bright, vibrant magenta-purple consistently across the garment. Bright purple dyes are prone to uneven fading, and the fabric and dyeing process used for the Pontemus are selected to resist colour loss through the frequency of use and laundering appropriate to a working vestment.

Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle; hang immediately after washing to prevent creasing. Cold washing is particularly important for bright-coloured fabrics to reduce dye migration. Press on a low setting through a pressing cloth. Avoid prolonged sunlight exposure, which can cause uneven fading in bright purple fabrics.
