The cut is closer than our daily shirts — cleaner shoulders, a defined waist suppression, and a fuller sleeve drape that reads correctly under chasubles, copes, and academic gowns.
French Cuffs & High Tab Collar
The signature features are double (French) cuffs, requiring cufflinks, paired with a slightly taller neckband for a 1.75” white tab collar. The cuffs are double-fused for a clean break at the wrist; the band is shaped to sit higher on the throat for a traditional, formal silhouette under a stole or pectoral cross.
Construction Details
Single-needle felled side seams, structured shoulder pads (very light, removable), pick-stitched placket edge for a soft, hand-finished line, and bar-tacked stress points at the cuff vents and pocket corners. The hem is shaped with a deeper back tail to stay anchored under heavier vestments.
Fabric & Care
Premium 80/20 cotton-poly broadcloth in a deep, sealed black with a slightly elevated thread count for a softer hand and subtle lustre under church lighting. Machine wash cold inside-out, hang or low tumble dry, and press the cuffs and band with steam. Dry clean recommended for repeated formal wear.

Do French cuffs require cufflinks?
Yes. The Sacralis ships with finished French (double) cuffs, which fold back on themselves and require cufflinks for closure. Discreet matte-black knot cufflinks are recommended for liturgical wear and are available as an add-on.
How is Sacralis different from Clerion?
Sacralis is the formal, dress-grade option — finer broadcloth, French cuffs, taller tab band, structured shoulder. Clerion is the year-round daily shirt with a full clerical collar band and barrel cuffs.
Will the cuffs fit standard cufflinks?
Yes. The cuff buttonholes are sized to the international standard for cufflinks and silk-knots, so any traditional clergy or business cufflink will fit.
Is dry cleaning required?
No, but it is recommended for shirts in heavy formal rotation. The Sacralis is fully machine-washable in cold water with low tumble drying; periodic dry cleaning preserves the structured shoulder and the band’s stand over time.
