The full-length cassock retains the single-breasted button-through construction of the classical cassock, but the Regalis carries greater visual weight and presence. Processed into a cathedral nave or seen across a large congregation, the Regalis holds its shape and colour with the authority that senior clergy dress demands.

Fabric, Construction and Care

The Regalis is constructed from a heavier-weight woven fabric than the Violae, chosen for its superior drape, colour richness, and resistance to distortion during extended wear. The fabric falls with more authority and holds the structured silhouette of a formal cassock through long services, processions, and ceremonial events.

The Roman collar is shaped to a more precise profile than a standard cassock collar, sitting closer and flatter against the neck for a neater appearance when worn with a bishop’s pectoral cross or other clerical regalia. Dry cleaning is recommended for the Regalis to preserve the fabric’s weight and colour; machine washing on a delicate cycle is possible but may reduce the fabric’s body over time. Press on a medium setting with a pressing cloth.
